ALMS Mod for F1 2002

RSDG has released the SCR (Sports Car Racing) mod for F1 2002. Once again the bar has been raised for modders everywhere. RSDG has done a superb job in recreating the cars tracks and seasons for the 1999 ALMS season. These cars scream. Thats the only way to describe driving one of those beasts. Lots of downforce, great handeling. The car interiors are a cut above what we're used to seeing in a modded sim.  From the Caddy cockpit to the little screaming Lolas, the incar view is just awesome. I highly reccomend this mod and can see huge potential for online racing. The recreation of Elkhart Lake, Road America is the best version I've ever seen.

To run this mod you need a full install of EA Sports F1 2002. You might also want to download and install the program called F1RST2.  This is a race search tool that bypasses Gamespy and allows for optimization of the feeble netcode built into F1 2002.

Download F1RST here

Here you will find an updated game.gdb file that is generic to all mods. It covers 91 tracks available and will make it so you can run races with more than 5 laps. Drop it into the seasons folder of each mod and all you have to do to add a track is to paste the track folder into the mods track folder.
